Trying to do a bit of tidying up on a scale engine and not all of the rivets look uniform. I know they have decal rivets but I'm looking for something quick and easy. Super Glue gel and JB Weld come to mind.
What have you used in a pinch to restore some rivet detail?

Rivet Wheels? They are like a spiky pizza cutter and you can roll them across material to emboss rivet detail.

Interesting tool! I am looking for non-recessed rivets, but again, that tool is great.

Thanks, Norm. I do remember reading that thread. I feel like you and Pat could chop off anything on an engine and then make it look better than factory after you were done with it! I'm not blessed like that, but I'll give some CA a try. Do you remember how you applied it? I was thinking of a straight pin or something like that.
Pins are incredibly difficult to purchase. I get fairly large ones from a basket supplier in New England, but the only rivet-size pins I have ever seen were a special production run for Vince Robinson. Extremely small nickel silver pins. I could probably spare two or three, but you would need something like a #70 drill and a drill press to get them placed. Archer would be easier in the long run.
Larry, just a toothpick or a straight pin would be fine. I used some thick CA and hit it with some accelerator. If you mess one up, you could just flick it off with an X-Acto.

I think it is intended for you to flip it over afterwards and use the other side. Fabric shops have it.
