Rolling Stock Monday

Fun topic.

I am fortunate to be a new member of a train group here in RI that meets every other week during the winter.

This past week featured, among other things, this home made beauty. He built custom swivels to navigate the curves. Somehow he makes this work.

@The Tinker = I'm guessing you're a pittsburgher too based on your knowledge.  Yes, I too remember the theory that it would never repeat a pattern.  Thanks for bringing back those memories.  And, BTW, East Pittsburgh is where Mom and Dad worked and met.  Dad worked on the first atomic submarine there.

@Railrunnin- Neat car for sure, but who is the clown in the cow's head?

Well you showed the sign and mentioned that you had a hand in it. I thought we’d see it lit up. Sorry to upset you.

I like it! To me it looks like a cracking tower for a chemical refinery. Great job scratch building and getting it to navigate curves.

Hah, best I could do to remove the person from the picture - didn't realize the bovine nature of my airbrush until now.

FWIW, I don't think the person would have minded, but I did not have his permission and thought it best to ensure his privacy as it was his house.

Yes indeed. Have one myself I 2-railed. Here's a pair of Atlas PS-2 3-bays I converted last month.

A day late but figured I jump in with something I’m doing for a fellow Rock Island fan.

I wasn’t upset in the least. Don’t think that. I’ll look and see if I have a picture of it lit. I’m pretty sure I do. When I find it I’ll come back and post it. Thanks for noticing something like that

I have one of those, too. I wish that OGR had done something similar for their 50th.
