I want to add detail products to a hotel roof. Walthers has N and HO kits for this purpose but I can't find any comparable O scale kits. OGR sells a water tank and several vendors have roof vents but I can't find much. I'd also like a structure with a door that could serve as the stair opening to the roof. I'd appreciate any help that members can provide. Thanks, Paul

Model tech studios and River leaf models make many items...
I think both model tech studios and korber make the rooftop access doorway. Vents and stacks of all shapes and sizes are available. Model tech, korber, Altoona model works and others. I usually just walk around the orange hall at York and buy bits like these as I see them. I have a bag of vents that I just dig into whenever I need one.
At the top is a wonderful resource called "The Scenery Sourcelist". You can spend all day there checking out the Scratchbuilder section with all of vendors who would have what you want.

I have used the Walthers HO roof vents for O scale Buildings. Vents come in all shapes and sizes. I do like the "working ventilators" and window "fans" from model tech studios.
There is also Berkshire Valley.
Don't forget that Korber makes the rooftop AC units you maybe looking for, The former Pecos River Brass line of structures.
Lastly, Rusty Stumps has some nice duct work that can be configured any way you want it.
