Need assistance on how to remove the roof on Super Baby Madison passenger cars. With interiors. Removed the 2 screws from the bottom truck area. Still no luck.

A manufacturer and their catalog # would go a long way for us to provide the proper information to your question.
If these are Lionel's design from the 1980's, you also have to press inwards on four of the windows which act as tabs holding the window molding into the body. Once released, you pull the roof/window casting free of the body casting.
Lionel 6-81649 Passenger cars. Newest model.
Thanks for your help.
Same process, it's the same molds as near as I can tell.
Is it wrong that "use dynamite" was the first thing I thought when I read the subject of this thread?
Nope, once you've worked on these cars, dynamite comes to mind pretty often!
The screws to remove on the cars are dead-center on the bottom. Once off, the roof will lift right off.

Really? No more butter knife?..No more putty knife....No more knicks?
.....I'm not giving up swearing,; forget it
I am stuck between being glad for others and jealousy
The Baby Madison's only needed a tiny bit of manual dexterity to open. If you used any tools (popsicle sticks, knives) you're doing it wrong.
SUPER Baby Madison cars have clear window glass and detailed interiors. They are screwd on.

Thanks everyone. Correct. Two screws on the bottom . Roof comes off easy. Bill
I know how thanks, lol; I have small hands. I can't form a proper bridge on a guitar and can pretty much only grip a small Walther's handgun without using two hands. The safety on a glock is that I can't reach the trigger without real effort.
Mr. Trump! So good to have you here!

I guess it beats being compared to the guy from the small handed burger commercials... Sort of
