I am trying to wire a Ross pre set up 031 switch to a tortoise switch machine. Can someone inform me on how to do it?

Your Tortoise requires 12VDC power not track power. The 2 outside contacts on the Tortoise are where the wires go. You just need the plus and minus to get it to work. You need to solder 2 small gauge wires to it. By reversing the wire polarity allows the switch to throw from straight to diverging. Before you hook it to the turnout. You can test it on the bench to see how it works and decide how you want to control it.
