In my earlier postings I described the construction of the building and the interior detailing
of the four stores in the row. Started in February 2013 and completed on 1/25/2014 the
majority of my time has been spent creating the interior details.

The major exterior detail was the array of gas meters and the piping associated with them.

I have attached a photo of the prototype to give you an idea of the complexity of this
single detail.

ROS-2- front-right view

Signage has been added to each store. Note the extensive aray of gas meters and piping on the

rear corner of the side.

ROS-4- front view from left side

The following photo shows the prototype array of gas meters. The building was recently

painted and the piping was sprayed the building color.

ROS-9 gas meter array

Detailing the gas meters also involved showing the gas piping to the various users within the building.

I chose to paint all the piping the grey color used in this area for gas piping.  Note that it extends

on to the roof top.

ROS-5 Right side view

The following is a view of the rear of the building. Notice that each of the four upstairs

units has a large skylight associated with them. Each unit also has a seperate plumbing vent .A Roof access hatch is provided above the stairway leading to the second floor. Leaders are provided to remove rain

from the roof. A chimney on the far right provides heat to the entire building. Tennents

have provided individual vents for their requirements.

A complete description of this project is available on my web site 'westportmodelworks'

for those interested.

I hope this series have be inspirational to some of you and triggered some thoughts as to

how you could further customize your buildings.

Please contact me a wsptmdlwks@gmail with any questions or thought as to what you may

like to see available.

I would like to begin by thanking all of you for your kind remarks. It gave me a nice shot in the arm to the extent that I spend a greater part of last week creating a standalone gas meter. One I will used to retrofit several of my existing buildings.

Just about every structure has gas service and one or more gas meters in this area.

I have posted the details on my web site westportmodelworks and invite you to check it out.

Again Thank you all.
