Henry,
Yes, I've built an attic running layout with two loops, 75' and 191' long without
switches or crossovers. I can place five trains on the long loop and two trains
on the shorter loop, run them all at once using the "all engines" number 100.
I enjoy Mark's automatic grouping of commands to sound a forward horn, and
bell before the train starts. The MTH cruise control will hold the speeds of all
trains close enough for about 45 minutes of running before a minor speed
correction is needed. Seven trains (without incandescent passenger cars) draw
about 8.5 amps from my 19v DC power supply, with the TIU connected passively.
A touch screen monitor works well.
Thanks to Mark for a well thought out user interface to his program.
Roger
