I thought I would be a little off tonight and head my consists with engines that are not the usual mainstream ones......A DL109-110 combo and MU'd Fairbanks Morse H16-44s.
Anyone else running something "less than the usual"?

No Peter, not me! I will say that yours is so unusual, as soon as the video started it stopped running, and I got an error message saying that my display driver had stopped working. I had to go to Task Manager to close my browser. Then open it again.
Enjoyed the video. Always nice to see something out of the normal but still within the realm of sane. You have a great looking layout Peter.....................Paul

Interesting sound, on the DL-109s.

First film, 38 second mark. Do you recall who made the first boxcar after the hoppers? John
That's a Weaver, round top B&O from their last run of them.......also, did you notice the Weaver Delta Lines boxcar?
I'm pleased I got both Weaver cars before Weaver closed.

Don't have time to get a video but I've been running my M1000.
Hey Peter,
Nice video - thanks for posting it!

Thank you......hope to finish wiring this year....then finish buildings, rods and ballast next year.

I've seen that wiener before!
Your topic is intriguing, Peter. So, I thought of perhaps a multiple locomotive consist out of the ordinary. Never on my layout have I paired my K-Line B&O Pacific with a Post-war Lionel B&O FA. Until now, that is.
I have the day home, so some other ideas are percolating as well.
The DL-109's sounds came through oddly, as no other diesel sounds as good as an Alco. Love that version of the NH paint scheme (I have it in early GM&O crimson/silver).
EMD's always sound a bit stressed and nervous (they were 2-cycle engines), but an Alco (4-cycle) has a casual sound about it, like "no big deal; I got this".
I think that's the best one yet Bill.
i never thought of putting my Thomas on the point!
interesting railing on the upper level too. What is that ?
