I bought a small collection of AHM/Rivarossi loco kits to get a pair of Harbor Belt powering kits. Out of it I also kept a Casey Jones kit with powering kit and this Reno that I rehabbed with some spare parts before selling off the excess. Shame that AHM never imported cars for these little 4-4-0's to pull, they run really nice. There are 2 spare motors in those RR boxes and one used one in the middle of the big Pennsy mill gon. Obviously the mill gon looks better behind the big IHB engine.

You did well getting two nice engines running well out of that collection. Has someone else made cars to go with the 4-4-0. You may find other cars, but will they be of similar detail?
That I do not know. I am sure there are cars out there. As tiny as this is, I wonder how close the Bachmann On30 coaches would be if they were retrucked with standard gauge trucks? I have some in a curio cabinet. Might have to look into that. I just finished up building one of the Casey Jones locos, so now the 3ish other kits and one motorizing kit will be traded to a gentleman for some other O gauge stuff I need. I suspect the building of the IHB 0-8-0s I am planning to do will be long duration projects based on how long it took to build the more simple Casey Jones. The 382 runs well around my tiny layout as well. AD
Love that 0-8-0 with the booster tender truck. I have a fondness for that engine as the HO version was the first HO steamer I owned as a kid. After many decades I still have it. Thanks for sharing!
Looks like you are having fun!
