Last week, I went over to Al Clair's to run some trains and have a good time!  Al's layout has a little something for everyone; classic and modern Lionel, new and old Marx, On30, plus a mix of tinplate, ceramic and scale buildings.  In other words, it's just fun!  He prefers minimal scenery so that the track can be rearranged as the mood strikes.  Here are a few pictures, plus a video:

Alan, I'm also sorry I didn't get to see you at the Springfield meet, but considering the size of the facility and the amount of people that attended, I can understand how we missed each other!  My display was in one of the layout rooms at the front of the building, the clockwork demo layout on the left, N&F caboose on the right:

Do I qualify for membership in the Mid America 3 Railers since my tinplate clockwork layout only has two rails?
