What's the best way to get a smooth edge on pink foam ? I want to build a dam using the edge of the pink foam in layers. Never tried sanding. I've only used a heat source working with this stuff.
It sands pretty easy. Get some coarse sanding sponges which should be available at most hardware or home stores (although not everyone may have them). A really sharp knife will also help trim off bigger chucks if need be before sanding. But no matter how you slice it or dice it, make dang'd sure you have a shop vac available - it's about the only way to clean up the mess!
2 inches more or less. I have a bunch of half inch scraps I was going to sandwich and carve stone for a stone river dam. Planned to do 4 tiers getting smaller as they go up so the dam face is angled back if you can picture that
