Santa and his steeds arrived today. Nice little cars. They have a nice weight to them and run on sprung axles. Neither the doors nor the couplers open. Santa figure comes in a separate little bag.

Just came in from the 2017 Vol. 1 catalog. Mine came from Chas.Ro.
Glad I ordered these as they will look great under the Christmas tree. Ordered from RO and the shipping report says delivery Thursday.
Ever since I saw the disconnect caboose prototype lionel had, I knew I wanted a few. The Christmas theme was a great idea. These will look great behind the Santa docksider.
My call from Grandpas Trains (Warwick RI) came today - going to grab my Christmas shorties tomorrow.
