Good Sunday morning. Hope everybody remembered to turn their clocks ahead (Spring forward).

This week I wanted to showcase the different Hobby Shops that populate the Eastern District.

Donald

First up is the “Corner Train Store”. This is an “out of the box” MTH building from a number of years ago.

Next in line is “The Train Shop”. Another older MTH building. This one was taken apart and painted. Additional details were added on the roof along with a custom sign. Almost all the purchases for the “Eastern District” were made at this shop.

If you look closely, you will see “Lou Redman” standing at the front door. He is selling trains in his famous toy train suit he wore to every train show. Lou’s figure was a table gift at the 2004 TCA Convention in Pittsburgh, PA. Lou was known to all as “Mr. TCA”.

Back in the corner it looks like one of Jim Policastro's "homies" is making a visit to the Eastern District in his flame painted "led sled". Those guys are trouble and the police were sent to investigate.

Finally, no layout is complete with the Lionel “Mid Town Models”. Installed straight from the box and offered by Lionel in 2000.

Nice work, Guys!!

I'm still tackling the bait shop.

Added some interior details, that are extremely difficult to photograph, but they are onlt meant to be viewed through the windows and door.

The "night crawler incubator". (uh, oh, somebody left the lid up).

And a nice comfy bench, I know how exhilarating fishing can be.

Wow, Alan. That tanker is just amazing. I keep looking at it imagining what five feet of tanker would look like on a layout. That is really impressive.

The bait shop keeps getting better and better, Vulcan. Love looking through the doors and seeing details, especially the stairway.

Great B&N car, SIRT. Terrific color, weathering and the roof rust and detail really stand out and looks so real.

Patrick, the coal company came out perfectly and looks like it was meant for that location. Beautiful job.

Ted, an "X" rated bait shop? I guess no underage kids allowed. What will you think of next.

Totally understand, but it IS pretty funny. I have a funeral parlor building that's named B.L. Zebub (only about half of viewers get the reference), but yours beats mine by a mile.

Jim.....Don't encourage him! I get enough headachs from shaking my head in amazment with what he does as it is!

Next you will want a hook and then a worm (then he'd be in trouble since the bird ate all the worms from inside the worm box!) .........

Vulcan,  I like the the background in the store, it looks great.  How about putting some O-scale bobbers on those cane poles.

Thanks for posting everyone. Great job by all!

OK- I'll bite......
What is BL Zebub?

TMack (and Kathy Bates) got it right. The real spelling is Beelzebub and in ancient references is generally Satan/Lucifer and the Prince of Demons (Google it and you'll see all the derivations).
