The technique of adding a bridge rectifier to a Pullmor to make it reversible by polarity on DC is well documented. Has anybody done this and then run it from a Williams reverse unit? Sounds "clunky" but with my junk box the parts cost will be zero. Thinking of trying this in a decrepit Lionel Budd 400 that donated most of its vital organs to science.

Why not try it and report back. In theory it should work but realize the relays are rated for six amps and startup current on a pullmore could exceed that. Make sure you maintain the series configuration of the pullmore. Parallel wiring will defintely fry the board and even trip you transformer breaker.

I did it with a Lionel 103E unit and it worked fine. Lost a little top end speed if I remember correctly. G
If it worked with the Lionel 103E, I can't imagine current being a factor with the Williams reverse board, that Lionel 103E is a pretty anemic little board.
