When I do a search, it brings up a whole list of stuff most of the time. Is there a way to make the word(s) you did a search on highlighted so they'll be readily spotted?

Not sure if I just are doing it wrong, but when I do a search, it does not come up in any order. It would be nice if it came up in most recent or a choice of acsending or descending order.

Not sure if I understand the question....I just searched tpc:
Are you talking about this (tpc) being highlighted . The searches I have done the words do come back highlighted.
Dennis If you click the date button all of them will come back as the most recent post being first.
Just trying to help. Hope I understand the questions properly.

One other bit. Do you go to the blue bar that's directly below the advertisement banners and highlight search...the drop down will be advanced search...click that and it opens another world of search options.
Thanks Larry!
I will try it, guess I just needed OGR Forum Search for Dummies 101!
Looks like I was not going into advanced and if I was I had it set for relevance rather than date. The search would will highlight but only in the body of the text. It doesn't seem to highlight the searched word if it is in the title but at least it pulls it up.
Unless I need something special to add that...
Thanks again, for the date thing as it was making me not even want to use the search feature. Now the advanced search feature will be my new friend!
The search would will highlight but only in the body of the text.
I also think that's the way it works. Only in the body of the post. That may be exactly what Bob is talking about.???????
I usually go to "Advanced Search" to find what I'm looking for and I usually use the "exact phrase". I just tried searching on N&W 611 and dind't see N&W or 611 highlighted. Is it a setting I need to make?
