Do you think Glen Snyder's shelving is wide enough to handle the "Heavyweights" ?
Thanks,

Absolutely
The top picture has heavyweight on the Glen's shelves. The second picture has postwar (heavy) engines.
I like Glen's and they are great people!!
Easily ,Its very nice ! Highly recommend it . Jim
Yes, I have 10 of Glenn's 6 footers and they will easily handle the load - assuming of course that they are installed according to recommendations. I have had no problems at all with the shelves, they look great, and agree with others that Glenn and team are good folks to work with. Go for a it!
We have Glenn Snyder shelves at our club and are pleased with them. You can always buy the 4 inch shelve which accommodates O/standard/G
My I ask a question? What are the smallest vertical centers these shelves can be installed. I put up mdf shelves on 5 inch standards. Only room for 3 shelves I would like to be able to add more Thanks Tstark
I have 36 sticks of Glenn Snyders display shelves screwed directly into the wall studs. They are full of post war engines and rolling stock. They will anything you put on them. I think my house would tip over before the shelves would give way. They are the best IMO.
Thanks all. I was more concerned about the "width" not necessarily the strength.
