Well this just allows me to tell a story!  I bought a four-way off a forum member that was used and showed it (no problem, it was a great deal). The long ties were cut and something had clearly fallen across it as rails were dented all the way across it and two of the throw arms were broken. I sent it to RCS and not only did they fix the ties and throw arms, they filled in the rail dents.  For free.  All of it.  I paid shipping only.  That just blew me away.  Steve is amazing and their care for their product and customer is unparalleled.  I will never buy another brand of switch.

ABOUT TIME

And here's another measure of what I consider to be exceptional about Ross...

They list and make available the products of their competitor, Gargraves  (ALSO an exceptional company in this hobby!) that complement their own product line (e.g., flex track, bumpers, uncoupling/unloading tracks).

This is a sign of true honor and integrity, IMHO.   Ross didn't have to do that.  They could've made their own, left it up to the customer to search out missing components in an otherwise complete track system, built a typical 'wall' in acknowledging their competition in other areas.  But they didn't......they gave them recognition and a business entry.  (In fact, I sometimes wonder if those two don't occasionally meet halfway between North Rose, NY and Norwich, CT....say, in a corner of Parillo's Bar/Restaurant, Amsterdam, NY...to share a brewsky!)

BTW, my first epiphanal encounter with Ross?........A York meet many, many moons ago.  I saw that l--o--n--g double crossover switch, and it was love at first sight.  In generating my basement layout plan using RRTrack, I first plunked down that gorgeous monster in the best location to celebrate its awesomeness to anyone visiting.  The rest of the layout emanated from there.

Of course, the wife will tell you that now my visits to the Ross booth at York are more anguished!  I didn't preserve real estate in the track plan/construction for an engine terminal that would justify a turntable/transfer table.  So now, standing there watching/admiring these Ross components, I've been known to whimper a little.

I'm a Ross/Gargraves 'uber alles' O3R guy when it comes to track.

And I know I'm not alone in that regard.

Count me in with your Shout Out!!

KD
