I am a cabinet maker, that is my trade. So much of the work I do on my train set is related to the craft of cabinetmaking. The gallery and it's arches shown in the photo are related to the full arches in the Grand Central Terminal model from the folks in Dallas. I used MDF, medium density fiberboard and some simple router templates to build the gallery. Several coats of tan and grey spray paint, combined with pastel weathering produced this structure,.
