I read an interesting article today about the Brits and the good ole USA and their custom of saying Happy Holidays or Merry Christmas. The article draws the conclusion that we in the USA (business people and many individuals, particularly those under 30) have become so concerned about being "politically correct" so as not to offend anyone that Happy Holidays is now the norm. While our brothers in the UK are just the opposite, it is their norm to say Merry Christmas. Personally, I think the Brits have it right and we should learn from them. My guess is that most of us celebrate the Christmas season and we don't put up "holiday layouts", we put up Christmas layouts. Just my two cents worth.
