No, I think W7 was the last I ran it...before my nephew borrowed it and trashed the disk.

There is supposed to be a new version, an application vs disk program, but I'm not sure it has been released yet. I think the projected cost was about $11.

Check the Google Playstore for it.

If it isn't ready yet, you might want to try a free app called "Tiny Rails" by Tiny Titans (a new windows version is now available).  I discovered it looking for a RR Tycoon twin. (new windows version available...but Im not sure its on Playstore..?)

No track laying, but similar market activities, still growing & changing through new developments, and nearly spans the globe now.(300+ stops ) The game has gone through some major changes recently, ignore the reviews, and play for a few days. The makers listen to players and do change what isnt liked. They stay on top of bugs/glitches, and you can play it hard, or totally carefree. I had low expectations and was pleasantly surprised as I enjoyed it more as days went by. (It also can keep your train moving when you are shut off and aren't playing it. Go to sleep and wake up with another million in passenger fares, go to work and come back to another million, etc.)

The trains are mostly fantasy based items that give Lionel operating cars a run for their money. But there are a few somewhat prototypical looks too, although using them usually doesnt pay as well. One Spoiler/hint Gingerbread loco early so you don't need diners and can carry more freight, and Doc's Back to the Future train asap..tap, tap/slide, hold(train shifts on screen when timed right..hold) to boost speeds.(no secret really)

I played for about 8 months, everything is unlocked, but no where near done.

If you have questions/get stuck, shoot me an email sometime.

This is kid freindly with a storyline too.

I visited steam lst night and found this fix for at least some of the crashes.

http://steamcommunity.com/app/...0/35221584409498211/

It sets a flag letting the program to use large memory addressing (LAA).  It appears that the program has a memory leak and runs out of memory and crashes.  By enabling the LAA people have reported no crashes though they may not have played the hours and hours needed to cause one.
