I have a Z-4000. I have two MTH Realtrax loops and connected them together with O-72 switches so you can run the train from outer to inner loop. Then to get back to outer loop you back the train through the switches. Essentially I only have two switches so one way in and reverse to get back out. I have one 10 inch piece between the switch curve sections.
I get power on both loops from either handle on the Z-4000. I have one handle connected to a an inner loop track and one handle connected to an outer loop track.
How do I isolate the loops? I thought the switches did that automatically.
