i am sure this topic has been discussed but i need help. i currently have two free track software packages, run rts 10.0 and xtrackcad. for me they are too complicated. i think they are for professional track designers. anyway, i want to purchase the easiest and simplest track layout software. cost is not an option, very easy and simple to use without having to use options. suggestions please.

where do you download anyrail at
Joker - just go to Anyrail.com
I just did and downloaded a free trial version.
thank you i will try it. most of these track programs are worse than using autocad or
photoshop, they are just way too complicated for the occasional user.
I've also used anyrail's free trial version. It's easy to use, has most of the track types, and the full version doesn't cost a heck of a lot.
One of the easiest is Atlas Right Tracks version 10.0. Click on the link (underline phrase) to access the download from their website. It is freeware. It is a click and drag software that will generate a parts list.
Another good option is SCARM (www.scarm.info). It is simple to use, supports multiple track types and generates quick, rewarding 3D renderings.
