With more than one Skelly Gas Station constructed, I needed a bulk oil plant
to bring fuel in on those two Lionel tankcars made for Skelly. The elevated
horizontal tanks are from made from, no kidding, spray paint plastic caps joined
and sealed with model filler. This construction was delayed until I finally tracked down a photo of the tankcar unloading apparatus seen at the back in
the center. This was a continuation of my experiment with scenery, my third
effort mixing acrylic colors in with Scenic Express Gypsolite, and then rolling
1/43 autos across it to create ruts. I now think I can do scenery.
