Small Country Store Power Requirements | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Does any one have any idea how much power the MTH Small Country Store - Papa's Billiards Product Number: 30-90397 requires? It has two light bulbs. No other electrical components.

Depends on voltage input. Up to 5 watts i would estimate.

I meant voltage. Just didn't say it clearly. Does anyone have any idea how much voltage this takes? Also, does it matter if it is ac or dc?

Most MTH buildings have 18 volt bulbs but are bright enough at 12-14 volts,depending on personal preference.Bulbs will last longer at 12-14 volts. Also consider installing your own LED lighting. AC or DC does not matter,although AC will give very slightly more bulb life.

I have several MTH buildings on the layout, 14VAC is plenty. I tap the Aux power on my Z-1000 brick for them.
