Small Plasticville homes evolve imitating real life | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

LionelskiOGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBER

In the late 1940's -1950's thousands of small homes were built throughout the country to accommodate the Greatest Generation returning from WW2 and getting married. Plasticville's small Cape Cod houses are perfect examples of these.

These small homes grew with their families (the Baby Boomers).

This evolution of these homes is reflected in the pics below of a couple recent projects of mine. Mandatory garages and back deck!

Very nice. I just wish the Plasticville were closer to true 1:48 scale as they have some nice detail to them with a little extra work.
