I recently obtained a Quonset Hut kit from a good friend of mine and pondered where to put it. I decided to redo a corner of the layout that had a MTH radar tower and building, along with a bunch of trees sitting in it.

I think that looks fantastic. Please post other pics of the entire layout if/when you have a chance. If you've already done so on other threads, please let us know and I'll search.
Great job.

Great idea! Fits right in!
I like it a lot Johnny.
What type of plaster did you use?
Joe
Thanks for the comments everyone!
Joe, I used lightweight hydrocal. It was spread on over the plaster cloth that was draped over the edge on the MDF board.
The building adds a nice element and scene is really enhanced by the trees. Your trees are nicely done.
Very nice, I like it.
great, however I would still be in a Quonset over it !
Nice work, good utilization of your space.
Has anyone ever put a small motor into the MTH radar tower for better performance? The motor in mine runs very poorly.
Looks great Johnny!! Nothing like changing things up a bit. Keeps our layouts interesting. Great job!!
I like it. Good use of the building and space!!!

Nice this sets the stage for some people , and maybe some crates and barrels. BTW is the Quonset hut from Menards?
