Was cleaning this engine and really took a second look at the detail. It really is well done and may be along with the N&W Y6b the best steamer lionel ever did. Just an opinion but the H7 is really unappreciated.

This why I hope that one of the Manufacturers will do the C&O K-3/3a, and allowing an ability for both tenders, the 12 wheeled Vandy, and well as, the tender that was used on their K4 Kanawha's....Lionel has the tooling to do this, as the flying pumps they put on this H-7/H-8, and their version of the George Washington 4-6-2 Passenger Engine......
The flying front pumps, and all of the added piping, makes a locomotive look more powerful, whether they were or not, it's all in the eyes of the beholder, anyway ?..........................................JMO!
