First I would like to thank te people of this forum.  This is a great resource and source of encouragement for younger inexperienced modelers like myself. 

As for my projects....

First is the polar rtr engine I started by shortening  the gap of the tender this turned out to be very simple. By just drilling a new hole in the draw bar from the engine to reposition where the screw attatches.

Second was adding a more realistic coal Load this was just some of woodlamd scenics coal glued over the top of the exsisting molded coal.  I laid on dry first to see how I lked the look then a layer of elmers glue was applied and spread followed by a light covering of the coal material.

For those nervous to try any of these. Take your time and don't be scared.
