I had the pleasure of invading Harry Heike's underground factory last week I picked up a creation that was later installed on the NJ HiRailers layout There is a story to this We purchased an Empire State building from TW Trainworx a couple of years ago. We then created a massive World Trade Center in house The new towers made the Empire state building look like a pimple and dwarfed it So we relocated our Empire State Building to Middlefield Ohio on the Cornerfield Hobby layout It looks great there So we had to get something that sized up to our world Trade Center and Voila! Harry Heike to the rescure This one stands seven feet tall It doesnt have the changing color lights on the tower yet but they will be installed Once I placed It I realized it should be moved back about 4 feet because its too close to the control tower and you cant appreciate the height

Awesome!
Hey, maybe every Halloween train show, might as well put a giant King Kong figure on the Empire State Building?
Very impressive Ben, looking forward to the time we can visit again!
Looks great. I remember standing down from the towers but don't seem to remember the Empire State Building for some reason. I'll have to go back through my pictures to see where it was.

You see you didnt eeven notice the old one The building in the foreground with the Monkey on it is the old Empire State It looked sick next to the Trade Center
It looks much better on its new home at Cornerfield Museum in Ohio

I saw a picture of Harry working on this several weeks ago. I wondered then where it might fit in. Now I know.
Nicely done.
One of these days, I hope to make a trip to see your layout.
Ben, yet another example of the old real-estate saying... Location...location...location...
You're right, it's WAY more noticeable at it's new location!
