TrainWorld has a great price on LC+ ACL FT powered B unit; my MTH F3 ABA PSd (QSi) won't pull all 12 of my 70' p. cars. I run the F3s as conventional/transformer direct; is there some way I can use this LC+ B in a kind of lash-up to help power my set?

Could be possible. It's possible that the LC+ will run at the same speed in conventional mode as your MTH F3s. If so, you're in business. If not, you could conceivably control the LC+ in command mode using the included remote to adjust it's speed to match the F3s, but you will then need to continually adjust that speed as you change the speed of the F3s with the transformer voltage control.
The B units do not come with remote just the A set. I think there is a switch on bottom for transformer or remote operation.
Oops, will need to buy the universal remote for $40 or so. Sorry about that.
If I run the F3s separate from the LC+ B and they don't match speeds in conventional mode, then how Do I use the Universal Remote to match the speeds?

You would adjust the speed of the LC+ B unit with the remote and the conventional F3s with your transformer. The LC+ B unit would need to be in LC/Command mode. Requires two hands and a lot of fiddling. May not be worth the effort and more trouble than it's worth.
PSd F3 (that I bought the B unit for) is locked in reset, so I tried the LC+ B with my traditional ACL SW and they run great in”lash up”. Can the lowered voltage hurt the B unit?
