Does anyone know of a source that has Warm White LEDs that are truly Warm White/incandescent looking. Looking for 5mm or even 10mm.
I bought from two different sources that claim they were warm white, but they're definitely more yellow than white.

My experience is you have to keep searching and sampling. After about five or six misses, I finally got a batch of 2700K 3mm LED's that are just what I wanted for steam headlights. The 2700K LED have almost exactly the color temperature of an incandescent bulb, which was the effect I was going for.

I have a package of 35 3mm warm white LEDs; they are rated for 3-3.4V, 24mA, and 8000mcd if it helps. I also have a salvaged light harness from a Lionel GP30 (#6-28862) which has LED front/rear headlights and rear LED marker lights.
