Anyone know a source for bulk lots of 3mm flangeless leds, say warm white and bright white?

I have removed the flanges with a light sanding with a Dremel.

There are so many types now you don't need a flange anymore. Thing of the past.

Evan's is way too expensive for me. For bare bulbs, I either go to eBay or AliExpress as a rule. I also buy in bulk, at least 100 at a shot.

John, are you referring to standard leds or flangeless? There are lots of standard led sources, but not moch for flangeless types. I found nothing on ebay in my last search. I will have a look at AliExpress. Given the current state of shipping from Asia I would prefer to source them domestically! eek

I just looked, and I used to be able to find tons of flangeless LED's on eBay, they're scarce now, very odd!

That being said...

eBay: 222380451070, US seller. He apparently has all different colors, just search for LED flangeless

Mouser has some white flangeless LED’s but they are pricey.

Buy the flange version, and trim it off. It's a bit tedious but not hard to do.
