I am posting progress photos of an S gauge model of the Southern Station that was in Charlotte, NC untill the 1960's. The photos start with the drawings into the build. I will continue to post photos until the building is complete. I will have the building at the April York show. All of the reasearch was done online. The CAD work and laser cutting was done by Twin Whistle.

Outstanding work and result on a great old Depot Stu. I only saw it once, during the late 1950s, when it was not at its best--but still majestic and beautiful. Watch out---Southern Railway fanatic Sean will probably try to steal it!
Stu,
Great work. Thanks for posting!

Looks great, Stu.

Very, very nice Stu. I would imagine that we could place it towards the back of our table for some forced perspective and have it still look great with O gauge?

I just posted the final photos of the Southern Station from Charlotte NC. The station will be on my table at the York train show in the Orange hall row K 19,20
That's certainly something to be proud of. Very nice, Stu.
Outstanding. That is a majestic structure. Thanks for sharing.
Impressive work. I am sure it will be a show stopper on any layout. Good work Stu.

Saw the Charlotte depot model in the latest CTT that arrived yesterday. Great publicity!
