I have a prewar 150 engine that has a rear roller sparking. The track is clean, the roller is clean although it does have some minor pitting. I thought about having the roller replaced. Any ideas how to fix would be appreciated.
The pitted roller may be the problem but a weak spring that holds it down to the rail may also be your problem. Is there much recent run time on that engine?
Hi Rob, I purchased it recently and the rollers had been just been replaced. It started sparking the second it was in the track. The front roller does not spark at all. I will check the spring when I get home tonight.
