Looking for a recommendation (s) for a SPDT relay that I can use on my PW-style layout to activate signals like the block signal, et.al. I use insulated track sections to activate signals and various accessories so looking for a relay that would work with the insulated track pieces.
I know GRJ is working on these of his own design (and I’m interested 
) but in the meantime…

I should have some of them in a couple of weeks, just waiting on the PCB from the supplier to come in.

If you're looking for a cheap and/or temporary fix for relays it's hard to beat pulling a bucket full at a local auto-salvage yard. These are not the optimal choice for 18VAC, but with some kludging they work just fine. As for the price, I've paid $20 for half of a 5 gallon bucket full of relays at the pull it yourself junk yard once, and nothing on another trip. Depends who's working, I suppose. I've also gotten a box full by asking at a local yard to pull them before cars were crushed.
You get some duds, but most of them work, and you can't beat the price.

The Automation Direct relays are very nice and I also use them for some things here as well. And I have more in stock.
I am also going to order some of GRJ's when they are ready. Everything all in one sounds good to me. This is going to be a neat device and I think he is getting close to making them.
