Speakers for Blunami?

I've done two Blunami upgrades thus far. The first was a Weaver 2-8-0 (see this thread: New Haven F-5 Consolidation Build | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum (ogrforum.com) ) where I repurposed a speaker out of a Legacy 4-6-0. The second was a Weaver U25B where I kept the original 8 ohm speaker that came with that engine.

I now want to put Blunami in an MTH DL-109. The DL-109s had dual Alco 539 Turbocharged prime movers, and I want to emulate that by using two speakers at opposite ends of the engine.

For those who have installed a new single 8 ohm speakers, what do you recommend?

Has anyone installed dual 16 ohm speakers in parallel, and if so what do you recommend?
