Spraying Scenery

Woodland Scenics are the best but they’re small and expensive. For volume jobs, I like the ZEP brand for industrial cleaning. They sell them at Home Depot.

What portions of glue, water and alcohol do you use?

For holding ground cover/turf in place, I use an inexpensive high hold hair spray that I get at Walmart. No jokes, please

I always heard 1 to 1 water and glue with a few drops of dish soap. However I read in a separate post that modge podge is better than glue because it doesn't clump up.

I like your idea, I was considering using matte finish spray, but hair spray would be more economical. How long have you been using it? I was wondering about long  term side affects, e.g., discoloration, mold or whatever.

Mustard type squeeze bottle, something simple.   Usually ground cover has some depth.  A deep soaking with the white glue/water mix is important for proper adhesion.  Work the slurry glue/ground cover mix with your fingers.  You may have to plug holes in the table top.
