Stock car with sounds question

They will run in conventional mode, but you don't have the control like you do with TMCC/Legacy.

I don't have a transformer just the the thing that comes with the set.  I'm sorry, but I'm new at this new and don't know much.  Will my universal controller work the sounds?

I have a modest 4x8 layout, but I have it fixed up pretty good.  It is powered by a couple of wall things that come in the train sets.  I control my trains with the a universal remote.  LionPlus.

With this activate the stock car moo sounds?  Or do I need the more fancy control stuff?

Unfortunately, the Lion Chief Universal remote will not operate any of the features of the mooing cattle car.  Adding a conventional AC transformer would get you some of the features of the Moo car, but not all.  To get all of it's features, you'd need a Legacy remote control system.
