Just wanted to let everyone know we lost another one of the greats yesterday. Repowered many locos for many people. Condolences to his family.

Sorry to hear this news, over the years I have seen a number of his upgrades for various modelers. He was by all means a master machinist and avid O Scale modeler. His expertise and engineering ability will be missed by the hobby, my condolences go out to his family as well as the many modelers who knew him over his years in the hobby. I saw Stu at many O Scale Nationals and Chicago shows in the 1970's and 80's. One of his specialties was upgrading drives in Max Gray brass locomotives. His locomotives for decades were regarded as the gold standard for smooth running. May he RIP.
Another very talented O-Scale great gone. Sad.
