Nice new engine and picture's!
I think this is the Sunday Scenic Showcase.
Thank you for starting it to day David. I was at a car show with my 73 Challenger.
Here are some pictures of some past structures I constructed.

A mixture of customer and personal stuff.
I have been working on a custom 'flatiron' building for a customer for some while now. It is completely scratched built using the same procedure as the apartment building post. When finished there will be a below street level floor with a clear canopy on one side. Since this is a standalone building I had to improvise the back wall.
Next up is my layout. I had 14 Atlas O #57 dulux switch controllers installed on my control board. Because of the recall I pulled them off and installed SPDT momentary toggle switches, which meant re-routing wire since the #57 used both power and ground and the SPDT uses only power. Well one thing lead to another. Not liking the way the old control board slid in and out (it was too tight), plus the top was looking pretty worn out with holes from previous changes; I decided to build a new board. The case work is done. The board slides in and out effortlessly with the self closing runner mechanism finally working as it was meant to. I am now installing and wiring all the toggle switches.
This is the bottom of the old board. I hope to make the wiring look neater on the new board.
The start of the new board. The black switch controls on top are Atlas O 'switch connectors' - sets of three SPST on-off switches to be used for accessories / lighting.
The SPST toggle switches on the bottom will be used to turn power on/off to spurs.
The open area on the left side will be where SPDT toggle switches for all turnouts go. I have Atlas O and Ross turnouts so the wiring will be different for each. Power goes to the switches for Atlas O while ground goes to the switches for Ross.
I learned some lessons building the Plastruct Parts cabinet. The control board now slides in and out quite nicely!

Using pegboard for the switch panel is a great idea. Thanks!

You are welcome!

I used that style when I first put my layout together. It looks great and you have done some great work.

Thank you
