Here are a few scenic shots of the Layout the TMB Train Club built for the Virginian Railroad exhibit at the NY Planting Fields state park. The park is the formwr summer home of the Coe Family which were the founder of the railway. BTW the Layout is for sale and we do have one pending offer.

Steve,
The layout looks good. I hope you have good luck selling it.

Nice layout. I am too busy preparing my house for renovations to work on the layout but I always look at parts, debris etc. for use on the layout. My house was built in 1927. When I knocked down a closet, I found knob and tube wiring. I removed the wiring and found that the ceramic tubes look like old time chimneys. What do you think?

Got a little more done on my coal dealer this week. The first photo shows the base. The completed structures simple plug and play to the base and won't be glued on. I usually build my fences at the workbench and try to adapt them to the layout. Working more with a module I built the fence to length. Then drilled holes in the base for the posts. Inserted TA couple of posts and secured the fence. Then followed the same method for the rest. A lot easier then tweaking the fence to the layout. The structure is painted a light gray with a heavy dose of grime. The doors are painted brick red. Haven't built any structures from wood for a long time. This is the first painted entirely with an airbrush using True Color paints. The towers were painted using a rattle can with camo paint. Can't recall which color.
I'll probably do the ground cover at the bench. At least the basic coat. I'll probably use some scrap PVC then remove them and add the modeled ones. Still need to add a few details and do some touch ups.
Had a senior moment and only painted up 6 windows. The structure requires 7. I did use a new glue to me from Micromark to secure the glazing called PSA. I usually suck at this and this glue worked as advertised.
A work in progress. This was a Walthers Sur Sweet feed kit. I re-painted it with rattle cans and added Clever Models brick foundation and vents. I also did not like the roof in the kit so I used Bristol board and Clever Models gray shingles.
I will add signs, details, weathering and scenery in the next week or two.

Great work, Guys!! Thanks for helping to keep the dream alive.
I did do a little modeling this weekend. Started on city module #2.
It begins where the package goods store is in the background on the left and extends another four feet. Got a lot done but nothing worth wasting pixels on.

Wonderful photo, Vulcan.

Awesome buildings!
I just finished the bi-level truss bridge and it is ready to ship along with two truss and two girder bridges.
I also got back a photo from a customer I built a small refinery and customized an Atlas O Dave's Superstation for.

Malcom - Very nice improvements to the Walther's Feed Store. It's amazing how much realism that foundation adds to the overall look of the structure.
Vulcan - I ran out of words to describe your work a long time ago. Very nice1
