Hey guys. The last few weeks I have been highlighting my engine service facilities with pics that did not make the cut for my feature article this month. Today are some shots of the 3 Bay Engine house.
This is a kit built by Mike Reagan (twtrainworx). He designed the structure and I asked him to build it for me since I had so many other structures to construct. He then boxed it and I picked it up at York two years ago. I positioned it on a MDF base (it was a tight fit) and detailed the interior. The transfer table is a beautiful assembled structure by Al Zamorski. It operates very smoothly and is controlled by a remote key pad located in the roof of the Yard Office (another kit by twtrainworx).
Enjoy the pics and have a great Sunday!

Three views of Corner Deli. I had the kit for this model, Village Groceries by Stoney Creek Designs, for at least seven years before getting around to building it for my 10’-by-5’ layout. I originally planned to put it at the front corner of the layout but the spacing did not work out.

Alan,
I find your Sunday Scenic thread to be the most enjoyable of anything I look at on the Forum.
MELGAR
Mel,
I find the same joy looking at the structures you and our fellow forumites have been posting here each week.
Great stuff, everyone!

Outstanding work this week guys!
Richard has completed the Albany Union station, now sipping to me to complete the lighting and the rest of the structure to place on the layout.
WOW, Rich! I can't wait to see it set up on the layout........

Here is my latest project starting up, another Plasticville rehab......this one is the Post Office.....
I really love my paint booth.....it's perfect for spraying......
1) the temperature is approaching 90 (probably hotter because the asphalt absorbs and radiates the heat).
2) if there is overspray on the grass, it gets cut within a week.
3) no fumes to deal with.

Repainted this MTH station. The grooves of the wood planked platform were filled and painted to look like concrete. Scratch-built additional concrete platforms to then match the station’s covered platform. Modified an MTH pedestrian walkover bridge to access track 2. Also, added station benches from Altoona model works.
Awesome showcase as always!!

Alan, thank you for another wonderful SSS.
Mel, great work on the Corner Deli.
Rich you'll have a very unique grand station. The details are incredible, it rivals the Grand Central Terminal models tat I've seen.
