Wow both Alan's as always your photo's are a wonderful site to see, thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your families.

This is a Berkshire Valley drugstore kit I'm working on for a fellow forum member.

It's in the beginning stages, very nice kit, but maybe it's me I'm finding the instructions to be a bit confusing. So I'm using my past carpentry skills to get by, and seems to be going well so far. This Drugstore will also have a full finished interior.

OK. This year, referencing the parade on Thanksgiving Day in NYC and the "MiracleMile" holiday parade in Chicago, I decided to get pretty fanciful by crafting a Holiday parade of "floats" and by jazzing-up community buildings and the local foliage. Here's the result...

This is me in super-playful mood and really ready for Christmas...

Nice job Frank.

Joe,

I supported the lobster by grinding the tail flat and glueing it to the tank roof with crazy glue. I added three angle suppourts on the underside to the tank shell.

I cut about 3/8 inches off each leg of the pizza tables to give them a scale height of 30 inches.

I will post some pictures tomorrow of the Dentist office tank I just finished.

Monsoon----the Parade is such a clever idea.  It Looks Awesome.  Might have to steal that for next year's holiday layout.

Thank you, Alan and Santa Fe Va. I much appreciate your support.

I had wondered if I had gone too far with my whimsical playfulness, but then, this past New Years Day, I saw the Rose Parade in Pasadena,Calif. and realized I was decidedly conservative in my crafting of my parade, compared to the floats in that extravaganza. I guess what I heard some fella say many years ago, "You can never over-do Christmas" is true, if you grant yourself the freedom to be playful and to celebrate, huh.

Frank
