Vulcan,my mom worked in a diner from when I was a little kid till' my teenage years so I spent a lot of time there,early 50's to mid 60's. The one you're doing sure brings back a lot of good memories.Ate a lot of porkroll sandwiches and eclairs for dessert.THANKS for stirring up the good times.   Chet

Thought i d have this done by now , but with the holidays and bad flu bug ..not.

I made up some homemade shingles with an air brush then cut them into strips. The only thing i wish i would of done was use a dark piece of paper instead of white, which now will have to be stained around the edges of the shingles.

great work! patrick, that guy on the bunk bed with his feet towards the window is a brilliant touch. Vulcan, the detail on the interior is just off the charts and is a testimony to great modeling and, I'm sure, patience. certainly paid off.
