SUNDAY SCENIC SHOWCASE 9/9/12

I posted a URR RS last week in a fantasy paint scheme.  This week, I painted one in the correct colors.

We've assembled and painted a magnificent 13' long viaduct custom-built by Forum member Tim.W and have recently installed and sceniked it. Will eventually be posting more photos but here's a partial view with our Lionel custom MoPac passenger set in transit.

Labor Day is history and the crowds are gone.  Good time to hit the tourist spots.

Take a morning hike:

Find a scenic spot to do some train watching:

Maybe a scenic drive:

In many cases, the local(s) will really appreciate a tourist or two in the off-season:

Good Morning all. Nice work guys.  Little more progress on the boathouse and pier.

Wife took camera this weekend so i m stuck with my old phone for pics.

Everyone....great pictures and projects.  I took a few quick shots without my tripod as you can see ( not great photos!) of a couple of things going on around the layout.  We have catenary going up which is around half complete at this point.  Also...Alex Muller (Ingenerio No.1) recently sent me some of his superbly built handcrafted granary piping which I installed on my granary complex.  Sure made a big difference!  If you right click on a picture and then click on "open link in new window" you can then really appreciate Alex's craftsmanship....

That is one heck of a amazing shot!  Especially with them Pennsy cars in the picture.  And that silo project is off the scale wow!

Very flattering but i am a novice and just experimenting. Couldnt make something and ask to get paid for it.Theres some REAL  craftsmen on here that could make you a good one.
