Good morning everyone,

I just about finished the s-scale roundhouse. I just have to get the customers input weather he wants the doors stationary or on some kind of hinge.

It looks like its going to be a nice day here in the Northeast so I am going to turn the lights off in the model room and do some joy riding.

Looking great, Alan !!

I like that a lot, Leon.

I've been working on this simple little background building to fill in behind the diner for what seems like forever. So, I decided if I was ever going to finish it I'd just have to knuckle down.............. and cheat.

Not finished but I'm making progress.

Thanks Vulcan,

Diner scene looks good. I like the loook of the asphalt. Did you use cork for the asphalt?

Finished the shed on top of the grain silo.  This houses the grain tubes which channel the grain after it drops off the top of the leg. Still to do it the cover over the top of the leg, which will protrude from the roof of the shed, and the cable safety fence.  I do not think the fence was installed until the 60s but it is there now.

Hi Trainman:

They are O scale (I hope). The horizontal tanks are 2 1/2 inch diameter (Plastruct). The vertical tank is 4 inch diameter (Home Depot PVC couplers). I usually use a 3 inch dia but decided to change so the new customer would have something more unique. I have to fill in molding divots and sand the PVC but the low price helps me keep my costs down.

Attached is a customer picture that gives a better perspective.

Your forum blog is amazing.
