Good Morning Everyone

I am on the run this morning and cannot post a picture of any of my work right now

I would like to say Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to you all. You have made the scenic showcase great for 2023. Thank you All.

Merry Christmas everybody! I am playing around with making my own unique resin printed O scale figures. I am using the MakeHuman plugin for Blender. There is much to learn and right now my skills are very cat-like. The biggest challenge so far was figuring out the human kinematics/pose mode stuff. I got dangerous enough to generate and pose this man shaving in the bathroom  mirror:

Before I got the poses figured out, I made this guy in different heights. This pic shows how these figures compare to a very nice Artistta figure. I really like how the hands and faces render out. I really need to get better at painting figures:

I think this is very promising. I hope to get good enough to make figures with better clothes and poses soon. Blender is very powerful and I’d like to learn it so I can make more interesting details for my layout. Right now I only know how to use this plugin in it. Here’s some bar patrons. I am trying to figure out how to get beer mugs in their hands:

Absolutely incredible Norm. I'm constantly amazed at what can be done with 3D printers.

Norm, the figures look great! Your painted figures look better than some sold on the market today. Give yourself a bit more credit.      Merry Christmas

@Norm Charbonneau

I totally enjoy your display of the building work. You certainly have the natural scenic talent.  I’m so glad you have the knowledge on using your “blender” ☺️.

My Danger high voltage signs turned out well and I appreciate the help from the Forum last week.

I feel the chugging blueberry smoke is scenic as well…

Happy Holidays to everyone on Alan’s Scenic Forum…

Seth - Your signs turned out great!  Which method did you use?

Norm this may be a perfect application for 3D printing.  Thanks for sharing and please keep us up-to-date on your progress.  Does the software allow your to input photos of real people?  If it does, I can see a lot of very interesting uses for that.  Either famous people or ancestors or our family.

Very exciting stuff.  Fun time to be in the hobby.
