Good Morning Everyone,

I will start with something I created in the past. I t was a cut away view of a storage tank I made for Buckeye Pipeline Co. This tank is fitted with an aluminum geodesic dome. The red pipe that goes to the top of the tank is part of a foam system for fire fighting. The tank was originally constructed as an open-top floating roof tank and the dome was added later. That is why there is a structure around the top of the tank called a windgirder. It keeps the tank round at the top.

Lets see what you are working on.IMG_0767IMG_0769 [1)

Alan thank you for posting each week, I always look forward to seeing what you and the other forum members are building. Pictures are of my current build, a fuel oil loading facility. The space available on the layout is really constrained, so all the structures have to be  compressed together.

Have a great Sunday, folks!

Peter

That is going to be spectacular Peter. The amount of detail is amazing. Looking forward to the finished product.

Peter,

The engine house looks good. You are doing a very neat job.

Anthony,

I really like your brick detail on the Korbut buildings.

David,

The parking lot looks great like everything you do. I love the various elevation changes of the landscape in all your scenes.

Mike,

Your oil depot came out beautiful. Your choice of colors makes the scene look very real.

Seth,

That little bit of color makes those windows look like night and day.
