Nice work on the roundhouse, Alan...and thanks for getting the SSS thread started!  Here are some shots of a Weaver Chicago Great Western 40' PS-1 boxcar that I weathered this week...

Backdrop painting this weekend.

Tried an experiment for a barn roof with embossed paper. Roof is on temporarily.

Had to put the trains aside this week for a special delivery……… 

Wow...a real beauty, Steve!  Love it in red!  Good luck with it.  Just hope you don't get the urge to weather her!!

Sirt like the car but if I had a choice a 72 Challenger would be better. Of course the Dodge Challenger was rebadge Plymouth Barracuda. 

Anyway here is mine. Just finished replacing Fast track for Atlas. Here that sound? What sound? The sound of silence!!! The Simon and Garfunkle version is great too.

Auto with paddle shifters. Wife has to use it for groceries.

Funny you should ask......we just moved one of our offices into a building we had to gut and refurbish.......I wish it was as easy as doing one of Andre's kits!

Hello Guys. Well I have taken a couple of models out yesterday and decided to try my luck at a couple of the easy ones I have. We will see how they come out. My guess is they will  turn out a little messed up. but I need the practice to see if I will continue with them.

BTP, glad I could add a little humor to your day!  And thanks for the nice comments regarding my weathering work.  

As for a head-to-head contest with Steve--a true master and one of the best I've seen--NO THANKS!!  I'm still a "newbie" trying to learn the whole weathering thing, and Steve's work has been a great inspiration in getting me started.  A man's got to know his limitations...and I have a long way to go!!
