Nice Job. You didn't mention your gasholders size, Usually they are quite large and dominated the landscape. Walthers makes an HO kit that is usable in O scale if you remove the HO scale ladders and railings. The telescopic sections can be build in one of three different levels. It is a bit small to be exact O scale but it looks right.
great as always, Steve.
I had posted this on another thread. My wife did some backdrop painting on the layout.
Great stuff Guy's……..
Richard E,
The gas holder is 15 inches in diameter by 18 inches high for scale dimensions of 60 feet in diameter by 72 feet high.
Steve,
I love looking at the work you produce. Great job.
Jon,
When I work on a project that has my attention I do not want to stop until it is complete. My real job usually gets in the way.
Brian,
The tank will be painted silver and there will be a section of the gas holder that will be rust colored.
Steve, Leon and Mike,
Nice work.

another small shelf scene The cidermill. did this on white beaded foam. The secret to making no mess is use a hot wire for all cuts. The whole scene is about 30" by 24 "
made cuts for the stone wall (resin product from inventory sprayed grey then hutnerline stains). Once outline was made the stone walls were set in fusionfiber tinted grey. The side building and stand (not shown were added.
after drying the remainder was coated with fusionfiber in two batches (one grey and one brown.)
For the outlying areas 12 mm static grass was applied to the wet fusionfiber
Next I did the outline of the parking area for stand and small road by adding fine cinders (scenic express)
I then added #50 light ballast over the fine dark cinders and used a very fine mist of water to help set the fine ballast and ciinders.
I covered this area with some cardboard and used 6 mm grass for area near buildings, and also went over the 12 mm areas with the 6 mm grass.. finished off the edge with white phlox (bill langford via scenic express). Sorry about the darkness of photo. I 'll have one with good light next week
Wow, Very nice work this week guys!
I have a few new background buildings we are working on introducing.
Here are some photos.
Great work this week guys, sorry i have nothing to add this week
